We are looking to run some sessions for parents. Whether you have experience or not with horses and ponies, we could give you some knowledge and insight in to what common bad habits ponies and horses get into and help in fixing them. We see so often kids and ponies running into a bit of trouble and parents not being able to help out, either from lack of knowledge or not knowing what step to take next. Maybe we end up putting a stronger bit in their mouth (the pony not the kid!), or we just leave it for the kid to deal with. They love their pony so much they are happy to put up with it pulling their arms out the sockets! It doesn't have to be that way.
This type of thing doesn't get taught in Pony Club or Riding Clubs or even at the riding school we go to every Saturday, but it should be. A - to help the child have a better riding experience an B - for the pony. Keep an eye on our facebook page and our website ShaneBorland.com for more details of dates and details.
